Simplicel sells travel eSIMs. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the store, and we never sell your data.
Who is responsible
The data controller is MB Linkis tech (company code 307076861, VAT code LT100018342914, Lithuania), operating the Simplicel store. You can reach us any time through the Contact page or at
[email protected].
What we collect when you order
When you place an order we process the data needed to deliver and account for it: the plan you bought, your payment (handled entirely by Stripe — we never see your card details; Stripe shares your name and billing address with us for the invoice), and your email address, which is required at checkout so we can send your eSIM and receipt. Order records are kept for as long as accounting law requires.
Order metadata we store
With each order we also store your IP address, the country derived from it, your browser's user-agent, and how you found the store (referring site and campaign parameters, if any). We use this for fraud prevention and our own sales statistics — never for advertising, and it is not shared with third parties beyond the processors listed below.
Who processes your data for us
Stripe (payments and VAT calculation), Amazon Web Services SES (sending your eSIM and receipt emails), our eSIM connectivity provider (provisioning the plan you bought), and Cloudflare (hosting security and content delivery). Our staff are notified of new orders via Telegram (order number and plan — no more than needed). Each processor only receives what its task requires.
Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
With your permission we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — pages visited, device type, approximate region (IP addresses are anonymized). These cookies are set only after you press Accept in the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and the site works exactly the same.
Cookies we always use
Your cart and your cookie choice itself are stored locally in your browser (localStorage). This data never leaves your device and contains no personal information.
Country detection
To show prices correctly for your region we detect the country you are browsing from based on your IP address. Outside of an order this lookup is not kept; when you place an order, the IP and country are stored with it as described above. Geolocation data by DB-IP (db-ip.com), licensed under CC BY 4.0.
Changing your mind
You can withdraw or give consent at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer. Withdrawing consent deletes the Google Analytics cookies from your browser.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Contact us through the Contact page and we'll help.
